About the Role
We need someone who can own the full sales pipeline – from identifying opportunities to closing deals – without needing constant direction. You’ll set the BD strategy, build key relationships, and mentor the junior BD team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across target markets
- Build and own relationships with key clients and partners end-to-end
- Develop pricing, proposals, and negotiation strategy independently
- Set and track revenue targets, pipeline health, and conversion metrics
- Mentor junior BD executives and help shape outreach strategy
- Use AI tools (OpenClaw, Lovable, Claude) to automate outreach, research prospects, and speed up proposal creation
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in IT services/software/agency space)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills
- Comfortable owning client relationships and deals from first contact to signed contract
- Working knowledge of AI productivity/automation tools is a strong plus
- Self-driven – able to plan and execute outreach strategy without micromanagement
