Full-time About the Role
You’ll lead mobile development for our cross-platform apps – owning everything from architecture to App Store/Play Store releases. You’ll set the technical direction for our mobile team and use AI-assisted tooling to ship faster.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and build performant, cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
- Decide between Expo (managed/EAS) and React Native CLI (bare workflow) based on project needs, and set up native module integrations when required
- Own the full mobile release cycle – development, testing, store submissions, and post-release bug fixes
- Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, push notifications, deep linking, and third-party SDKs
- Mentor junior developers and interns on mobile best practices
- Use AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity, Lovable) to speed up feature development and prototyping
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds (Fastlane, EAS, etc.)
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience building and shipping React Native apps (iOS & Android)
- Hands-on experience with both Expo (managed workflow/EAS Build) and React Native CLI (bare workflow), and the judgment to choose the right one per project
- Strong grasp of native modules, performance optimization, and state management (Redux/Zustand/Context)
- Experience publishing apps to the App Store and Google Play
- Daily working experience with AI-assisted coding tools
- Ability to take a feature from concept to production with minimal supervision
- Strong debugging and mentoring skills
