Full-time About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior MERN Stack Developer who can take a feature from a rough idea to a deployed, working product with minimal oversight. You’ll own architecture decisions for your modules, mentor junior developers, and use AI-assisted tooling to move faster without cutting corners on quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and Next.js
- Take full ownership of features – from technical design through deployment and post-launch fixes
- Review code, mentor junior and intern developers, and set coding standards for the team
- Optimize application performance, security, and database design (both SQL and NoSQL)
- Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity, Lovable) to accelerate development, prototyping, and debugging
- Collaborate directly with product, design, and business teams without needing a middleman
Requirements
- 3-4 years of professional experience with the MERN stack
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (App Router, SSR/SSG, API routes)
- Strong understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication, and database design across both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on, daily experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and/or Antigravity
- Comfortable making architectural decisions independently and owning the outcome
- Strong debugging, code review, and mentoring skills
